Northwest Atlantic, Canada’s leading retail tenant advisory firm, has been been fully acquired by Chicago-based JLL, according to Chicago Business.
The Toronto-based firm, which represents leading global, national and local retailers across all categories, including Nordstrom, Inc., Winners and movie-theater operator Cineplex, Inc., has transacted more than 75mn square feet of retail real estate in Canada.
The purchase price wasn’t disclosed. A total of 45 employees across cities including Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver will join JLL Canada’s team, and the acquisition will result in no job cuts, JLL said.
