In response to greater volumes of cross-border real estate transacations, a new online platform will enable buyers and investors to search for real estate listings throughout the world, according to the World Property Journal.
GlobalListings.com will help users search over 173,000 residential, commercial and vacation property listings from different countries. The new site will also help American property owners and brokers market their assets to an increasingly affluent global base. In fact, there are already 6,600 listings for Florida properties alone.
Global Listings, Inc. founder Michael Gerrity stated, “As the real estate industry has really gone global in the last decade, coupled with the explosion of cross-border property transactions occurring worldwide, we are really excited to launch the first truly global international property listingsĀ search platform to accommodate the growing needs of a globally connect world.”
