Freddie Mac has released its Primary Mortgage Market Survey for the week of March 22, 2018. The U.S. weekly average 30-year fixed mortgage rate rose 1 basis point to 4.45 percent in this week’s survey.
- 30-Year Fixed-Rate: Averaged 4.45 percent, up from last week when it averaged 4.44 percent. A year ago at this time, the 30-year FRM averaged 4.23 percent.
- 15-Year Fixed-Rate: Averaged 3.91 percent, up from last week when it averaged 3.90 percent. A year ago at this time, the 15-year FRM averaged 3.44 percent.
- 5-Year Adjustable-Rate Mortgage (ARM): Averaged 3.68 percent, up from last week when it averaged 3.67. A year ago at this time, the 5-year ARM averaged 3.24 percent.
