Weekly Mortgage rates took a breather during the first week of January 2018, according to Freddie Mac’s latest Primary Mortgage Market Survey.
-30-year Fixed: Averaged 3.95%, down from last week when it averaged 3.99%. A year ago at this time, the 30-year FRM averaged 4.20%.
-15-year Fixed: Averaged 3.38%, down from last week when it averaged 3.44%. A year ago at this time, the 15-year FRM averaged 3.44%.
-5-year Adjustable-Rate Mortgage (ARM): Averaged 3.45%, down from last week when it averaged 3.47%. A year ago at this time, the 5-year ARM averaged 3.33%.
