
After 5 weeks of lower rates, weekly mortgages resumed their ascent yesterday, according to Freddie Mac’s Primary Mortgage Market Survey (PMMS).
- 30-Year Fixed-Rate mortgage (FRM): Averaged 4.03%, up from last week when it averaged 3.97%. A year ago at this time, the 30-year FRM averaged 3.66%.
- 15-Year FRM: Averaged 3.27%, up from last week when it averaged 3.23%. A year ago at this time, the 15-year FRM averaged 2.89%.
- 5-Year Adjustable-Rate Mortgage (ARM): Averaged 3.12%, up from last week when it averaged 3.10%. A year ago, the 5-year ARM averaged 2.86%.
