A reminder for all real estate agents to please be careful.
Ryan Vega, a 37-year old real estate agent in North Las Vegas, was stabbed in the neck as he was showing a rental property to a buyer on September 30. Police say they believe one of the tenants stabbed Vega before fleeing. The buyer and other current tenants were present at the home during the showing.
The police continue to investigate and have made no arrests in the case so far. Vega suffered a cut to his trachea. He was rushed to a local hospital and remains in stable condition.
Ryan’s wife, Josephine Vega, says she is sharing the story with the media because she wants to raise awareness about the risks in the real estate business.
