President-elect Donald Trump has nominated retired neurosurgeon and former presidential candidate Ben Carson to the position of HUD Secretary, reported CNN.
Both the the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) issued statements supporting the nomination, according to the World Property Journal.
Carson has often cited growing up in “dire poverty”. However, contrary to earlier reports, he has never lived in public housing.
