New Technology Helps Map & Track Foot Traffic in Real Estate Spaces

A new system by Toronto-based InnerSpace is helping commercial real estate owners and professionals better map and track usage of their physical spaces.

By using spatial-sensing technology, InnerSpace installs a device that helps users do the following:

  1. Create an indoor map of a space;
  2. Help users navigate their way inside a space through the use of a smartphone; and
  3. Track usage (foot traffic or space use) through the use of sensors.

In many ways, the new technology by InnerSpace is sort of a “Google Maps” for the indoors, according MaRS blog.
